INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CROWNS CUSTOMER DAYS 2021
From October 4 to 7, KRONEN will present solutions for the food processing industry – live and interactive.
On these purely virtual customer days of the family business from Kehl-am-Rhein (Germany), novelties and live machine demonstrations are on the program. Participants from all over the world can gain a lot of expertise through specially selected online workshops. In addition, one-on-one demonstrations together with KRONEN specialists and discussions ensure a lot of exchange of ideas and interaction.
Due to the pandemic, there were doubts about the customer event originally planned in June for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. That is why KRONEN is now inviting this region to participate in October.
As with a regular Customer Day at KRONEN, which normally takes place at the production site in Kehl, the focus of the program is on machine demonstrations. Technologies for processing salad, fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, vegan substitutes and baked goods will be presented. During the four days, participants can choose from a varied program of workshop webinars and live machine presentations. Participants with special products or wishes can receive demonstrations on machines of their choice in an individual live appointment.
Furthermore, the KRONEN team is ready to provide an extensive amount of application-related, innovative expertise, for example on the following topics:
• Hygiene of water, air and product: a total concept for hygiene and shelf life.
Part 1. – Solutions for the hygiene of whole fruit and vegetable products in the DECONWA Prep.
Part 2. – Solutions for hygiene of products and process water with Citrocide.
Part 3. – Solutions for the hygiene of dry surface disinfection with the UVC Lock.
• Intelligent solutions for monitoring and controlling machines and network systems (Industry 4.0).
• Application of robots in Freshcut with, for example, avocado
The online Customer Days for the international industry are held in English, but all workshops are available in the following four languages: English, French, German and Spanish. Customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland can also register, as the first event for the German-speaking area was originally scheduled to take place in June. However, due to the pandemic, which had caused hesitation in registering, KRONEN has now decided to combine both events and offer a common platform for all countries in the autumn.
“We have received feedback from some areas of the industry that there was no demand for an event at this time. Due to the pandemic, companies are currently cautious and waiting to see how the situation develops – understandably, and so demand is not that high as expected. We are delighted with the applications we have received and the respective interest. Of course, registered participants will be personally advised during individual appointments. In addition, we therefore invite all interested companies from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to participate in the joint international customer days in October,” said Stephan Zillgith, spokesperson for the management of KRONEN.
“For us at KRONEN it is important that interaction at a personal level and individual consultation is also possible during a purely online event. That is why we have question and discussion sessions after each workshop. Anyone who wishes is also welcome to attend machine demonstrations as part of an individual appointment, to discuss their requirements or products in a live dialogue with a KRONEN expert. Of course, our global representatives will be available for their regional customers.”
Online registration is possible from mid-August. The application deadline is September 24, 2021.
Technical requirements: the online Customer Days are hosted on Microsoft Teams that participants can easily download as an App on their PC or smartphone. Each registered participant will then receive an individual link from KRONEN and simply click on the link when the relevant workshop starts. That’s all you need, just a PC or mobile device, the Teams app and a webcam if available.
